Loki is a 7-year-old Australian Bearded Dragon. The photo of him curled up in my hand was taken on his first day home with us. He fell asleep in my hand with his snout between my fingers. He was captive bred in Burnaby BC and came to live with us as a hatchling. He has Sandfire bloodlines and is a lovely Lemon Pastel colour. He measures 20 inches, from the tip of his nose to the end of his tail.
Loki is a typical Beardie. He loves to eat, sleep, climb and run around the house. He spends hours watching the
world go by from his window and loves to bask in real sunlight outside on the lawn. He's a very laid back guy. Beardies are omnivores. Eating bugs, greens, fruit and veggies. Loki loves strawberries (garden
fresh please, won't touch the ones from California), raspberries, apricots, banana, melon, baby greens, yam puree, BBQ chicken, steak (rare) and any bug that happens his way. |
